The Schmooze Ruse- An Award To Flex Over
In a week where I feel about as social as a two by four, I've been doubly awarded (meaning hit on both cheeks at once) with a blogger award for basically just carryin' on...
I got it once from Amusing, who runs her blog from here. And I remember thinking, "hrrpplesnuffle" and similar stuff. Her well intentioned 'awardment" ran into dead dog grief and went nowhere. To Amusing, I say "Ahh gee... Thanks!"
Then I got it again. This time from Another Tangential Thinker (CS). Only her award required (for some inexplicable reason) that I show off my muscle.
So here is some of the meat I tote around to work everyday.
Ironically, schmoozing is a social phenomenom and this is my least social week in awhile. So while I accept this grand award from two wonderful women, I have to go crawl back into my hole now, and suck my thumb.

(And, while we're at it, I think we'd all agree that while you were spinning that yarn that had us all completely captivated, we became part of a community that you recreated for us. So, badly timed maybe, but well deserved nonetheless.)

Sounds like perfect timimg to me. But "Only her award required (for some inexplicable reason) that I show off my muscle." WHere did I say that? And how did you make it look like you'd been branded?
