When It Rains It Pours...

I still do better learning to play the ukulele when I compose my own stuff. Guess I don't sound much like Avril Lavigne so things get a bit complicated doin' someone else's stuff...

Here's one I wrote yesterday mornin'.

Oh... I play this on my new baritone ukulele, a bigger instrument than my pinapple ukulele with more of a guitar sound and a bigger fret board for my hands made of meat...

It’s Fixin’ To Rain

G
Grandma passed the other day
C
Died of her age is what they say
D
She died disappointed is what I know

Tryin’ to make it on her own

(and drove ‘em on the freeways)

(Grandma’d have none of that stuff)

G D G
It’s fixin to rain

G
Grandma chased a bear with a chainsaw one night
C
Naked in a sheer nighty under the moonlight
D
Must have given the bear a horrible fright
C
I know it got our attention!
G

C
Turn off the sprinklers
G
Roll up the windows
D
