I Can Sing Lower Than Lee...
For years and years I thought I couldn't sing because I always tried to mimic the tone of the person singing. All these years, the problem has been that I'm a bass, and if I sing where Michael Jackson sings, I sound like a couple of cats fighting in a bag.
But if I sing where Lee Marvin sings.....

Sing along with Leonard Cohen...he had limited range but had female back up singers to carry the tunes for him - can't say he wasn't a genius.
I wonder, I've got a limited alto range, maybe I could have a couple of cute tenors carry the tune for me.
