Goin' Jack London On Yer Ass...

I went for another march up Kerby Peak for exercise the other day. It's about a 4 and a half hour march, round trip, with 37 inch inseams making big strides and a lot of huffing and puffing up about 2500 feet of elevation.

It brings out the wild in my dogs. Or... err... what THEY think of as wild.

In the first picture, I've got two of my brainiest checking out the "tracks" they found in the snow.

Ummm... those would be Wenzel's tracks, gals...

And at the peak, Wenzel is trying really hard to go all Jack London on me.

I'm just waiting for Wenzel to actually learn to howl.

The best thing about visiting your blog is the quantity of lovely photos. And your dogs look to be right in their element.

Oh my, he really does blend in so perfectly against the landscape, he looks totally at home and atuned to this environment. You, on the other hand - out in all that white stuff? Bonkers..

You gotta wonder what goes through dogs' brains when they get out there.
