It Didn't Rain, But It Poured...

Well, I had my people call their people and a small crew of cement finishers showed up and I got the three slabs poured friday- with one eye constantly on the local radar looking for a sign of a rain squall coming through and plastic nearby and ready to cover up if it did...
We got lucky and now I have a small slab in front of my shop with a walkway connecting another walkway, a slab on the side of the house that will be a combo greenhouse/bathroom with soaker tub and on demand hot water (so you can sit in the tub for an hour or two...) and a slab for the pool I am putting in so Mum can do her pool therapy at home everyday this summer...

And it all went easy peasy...

Did you do the prep work or let them do it?

Good idea getting it all done at once too.

I like the idea of the greenhouse bathroom - and I know you're not in the middle of the city...but what about privacy?

Our property is two acres surrounded by trees. The "privacy" would only be from each other, and running hot water solves that (for those who need it) by fogging the windows...
