It's Not My Money, Honey...

Today, all across America, protesters are standing out in front of Federal Reserve offices protesting its very existence.

I am betting ten Federal Reserve Notes that there will be little coverage of these protests on the regular news. What little there will be, will be editorialized by news anchors who are not qualified to editorialize, and whose job is secured by very large corporations who benefit from the Federal Reserves' existence.

The best that can be said about these protests, is that citizens of the US may be woken up to the actual system of money that they live under. When a five dollar bill no longer buys a hamburger, an American can now say, "Inflation; the Federal Reserve must have printed up too much money to pay for government programs and military activities"...

That is, if you've taken the time to educate yourself on what the Federal Reserve is, who it is, and what it does...

Whenever someone or a pet gets sick in my family, I take it as an opportunity to learn a little about the body. Doing so makes tolerating the sickness easier (the mystery is gone, leaving nothing to interpret) and living more profound.

Now that the economy is sick, I highly recommend taking a little time to understand what is happening. It won't pay your bills for you, but it may make you feel like protesting the Federal Reserve yourself...

Oh, I just started rereading his book and I can't believe everything I forgot. The first few chapters that talk about bailouts is scary.
