I Tried To Tell People Too

The main reason gas is over four dollars at the pump is because the value of the dollar is half of what it was. If you double the value of the dollar, you would basically have two dollar gas.

I hope that makes sense.

If you don't know what is transpiring, I can't really help you much. The US government and most talking heads on the television are lying to you willfully. There is a crises occuring, and the music from Jaws is playing in the background.

There. I've done my bit to wake people up.

I am, after all, just a carpenter living in rural Oregon.

Petrol (gas) is over £4 a gallon over here, although they price it in litres these days to confuse us.

A recession is brewing over here too, though the politicians are trying their best to talk it down as a "credit-crunch". I recall being cauight up in the pain of the '80's recession, it's a depressing prospect to think of a fresh one coming round.

Then again our dollar has doubled in value and so has petrol.
