Say Good-Bye To Your Little Friends... Happy Valentines Day!!

*

Valentine's Day for Waldo started out rather peaceful and uneventful.

Little did he know that while he lay there assuming I was staring at him because he was such a cute and cuddly boy dog...

I was, in fact, looking at these.

"Say goodbye to your wittle friends, Waldo!"

And Happy Valentine's Day!

Waldo is now no longer a Waldo but just a Wally.

I got the call at 4;30 this afternoon.

"He has been "fixed".

"Broken," is what I was thinking. No longer capable of feeling inspired love and passion...

I wondered for a second if men would lose interest in women if they got their nuts chopped off? Or would they just make better and more cuddly friends?

Happy valentine's Day!!

Fair thee well Wally's nuts!

They were kind of heart-shaped. before.

Did you consider neuticles?

I knew a guy who'd lost his nuts to a meat hook when he was young - not sure how young - I knew him in highschool. Yes, he got along great with the girls - but he was fairly effeminate and I had no desire to cuddle him. I knew much better the guy who was best friends with him and in fact, was with him at the time of the accident (they were jumping off the hayloft and he got caught on a meat hook on the way down) Prior to that he had been a regular rambunctious guy. I would not say he became "better". Perhaps a guy who had serious sexual predation problems but not your average joe.

Congratulations on fixing future paternity problems! Actually, castrating human males has been practiced in the past and just like with most animals it reduces the agression produced by testosterone. As such, I've always thought it would be a great punnishment for repeat violent offenders (murders, rapists) who then could be "released" and rehabilitaed into society. Besides, if you kill people I'm not sure that losing your right to reproduce isn't a boon to everyone.

Had a dog of mine clipped once 'cause he would never stay home. Turned out he was just a hunter...still left home. Oh well, at least he didn't have any girl dog troubles along the way.

Maybe we could test your theory out about men...any takers??

Maybe we could bury the nuts during winter so as to have a test run :)

I don't know about it making men cuddlier, but I just don't trust an intact male dog.

Gee, thanks for the up-close-and-personal. Did you ask Wally's permission before posting his nether regions on the web?

As for my male dog who has been neutered, I can't say it has changed his instincts one bit. His nickname in our neighborhood of 8 dogs is "Chester the Molester" because he'll hump any dog, girl or boy.
