The Ron Paul Dollar And Me... Or... Look What I Can Get My Friends To Do!

Every now and then, I forget that I can be one lucky SOB. And not in the usual lucky way, either. Lucky in odd ways. Lucky in ways that surprise and delight.

Those ways.

I told y'all the story of the Ron Paul Dollar. I told y'all I had entered a sign slogan contest with "What Can Ron Paul Undo For You?" and I won. Well, it turns out first prize was 15 Ron Paul Dollars. Yes! 15!

I wasn't paying attention, apparently, to the rules again.

Ebay is currently selling them at around 150 dollars each.

Sometimes I feel like one lucky so-and-so from Oregon!

As to these pictures? Well, that's my friend Leo. He is the most photogenic man alive, I think. I took these pictures... well... as evidence I can talk almost anybody into doing anything...

Surely you mean "almost anything"?

Isn't Leo the fourth ZZ Top member?

Your friend looks like a gnome! And yes, you certainly are lucky.

Mushy, jeannie

I always tell Leo it looks like someone watered him and he grew up and escaped my garden.

What a great story. And I love Leo's beard.

Very lucky--congrats! As for Leo, gnome vs. ZZ Top ... that's a tough call :)

I think Leo must be a leprechaun. Looks like it to me, anyway.

Congratulations on your sloganeering!

How cool! So are you putting them all up for sale? You know they're only worth $150 each so long as someone is willing to pay it...

And your friend Leo looks like fun :)

Hey -- you can probably use those tokens at Chuckee Cheese!
