Sometimes A Great Nation, Sometimes A Great Notion...

I printed out a copy of the US Constitution today, and sat down next to a warm fire and read the whole thing.

When was the last time you sat down and thought about the document that once set the US apart from the rest of the world?

I suggest liberals and conservatives alike take a refresher course in understanding what the original intent and beauty of this document actually was.

I last read our constitution about six years ago. You are right, we should all have a copy and read it now and then to remind ourselves of the greatness of this country. Or maybe I should say the greatness of this country if our politicians would just abide by it and not shred it upon some notion that they know better than our founding fathers.

Whenever i read the constitution, which is not often enough, i thrill to the language and intent.
