I'm A Boomerang In A Saturn Dog Kennel--

I got back home last night just in time to see American Idol at its 8 o'clock feed. This time, Jordan made me cry.

Damn her!

Ever get the feeling your life has been over-ruled by a couple of butt-sniffing fur bags?

I surely do.

I mean look. I'm not in a single one of these pictures.

It's Tuti this and Wenzel that. Even my sister worried about my dogs being fed and left me to fend for myself most of the time.

They each got a bright and shiny new bowl to lick, straight from her shop.

WHAT ABOUT ME?

It is 1 o'clock in the afternoon here in Southern Oregon, and the weather is awesome. I've been out mowing down our acreage and getting the car unpacked (I've still got dog hair removal to do- I use my leaf blower).

My dogs have been napping all morning as if they deserved to idle around after all the great adventuring they did yesterday at my expense.

I think I'm gonna have to get me one of them girlfriends I can tote around and make them both jealous. I mean, look at these two...

Cheeky buggers, the both of them...

I see you're making great use of that new camera! Southern Oregon looks beautiful, and it looks like the pups are enjoying themselves. Great shots! (and yes, the "children" always come first)

Your dogs are absolutely adorable!
And I feel your pain on the dog hair - our dog sheds like it's 100 degrees outside all year long.

Beautiful dogs - but I'm glad I don't have any shedding all over my house!

I do love dogs. I think if reincarnation were true, it would be best to come back as a cared for dog.

Welcome back to the land of green big guy! Wenzel looks so much like my Annie Fanny it's spooky,,, what breed is she? Man I never thought of using the leaf blower for dog hair,,, thanks for the tip. I actually watched idol for the first time last night which song did J do that made you cry? Her last one is one of my favs. [Im loving having sattilite!] And the answer to your question "Ever get the feeling your life has been over-ruled by a couple of butt-sniffing fur bags?" ... Every single dog lovin day. btw I ADORED the cheeky pic... LMAO

Hi all! Yes, dog hair is the price you pay for dog lovins'. I accept it. I just get out the leaf blower every now and then and have at it...

Tammie- I took some 300 pictures. You'll see some posted here and there. Mostly here. Not so much there.

ladybronco- I had a Siberian Husky as a kid that would shed two safeway paper bags full of hair every spring.

Jeannie- The trouble I have with actually being a dog is what they sometimes put their noses into...

CS- No hair no dog lovins'...

Thanks Cheesy! Wanna go beaching with me next weekend? Bring the dogs?

Oh. Hell, I cried for both songs!

I love pics of your dogs, they always look so happy, content and loved. You're a good doggy-daddy, that much is obvious!
Welcome home!

Great photos of your dogs! I know exactly how you feel about your sister doting on your pets instead of you. Once we had children, our parents only see us as an impediment to spoiling them the way they want to. We are officially chopped liver.

Bet it feels good to be home again, huh?
