Just Say- "la la la la la la la la...."

Kris says-- That post is now reminding us all of our worst stuck song stories. Out of kindness towards you and your readers, I should probably refrain from telling it, but since its haunting me again now...

Twenty years ago I went to visit my sister who had just moved to LA. We went to Disneyland. (If you already suspect you know where this story ends, then stop reading now to save yourself.) Anyway, we saw Mickey and Minnie, rode to space mountain, raftered through the Pirates of the Carribean, even spun in the teacups. Had fun pretending we were 8 years old and lamenting that our parents never took us to Disneyland as kids like all of our friends got to do. We had been on most of the rides and were wanting to kill a few minutes before going off in search of dinner before watching the parade. So we did one more ride. It haunted us for the next three days. We BOTH had that damned song stuck and we couldn't get it out. We heard it in our sleep, we heard it when we were awake. We even heard it when we tried to listed to the radio...

Now, imagine yourself getting situated in the little car on the tracks. The ride operator comes and locks the safety bar in place. You're about to be on this ride for the duration. Don't know exactly how long it was, probably about 8 minutes. Imagine 8 minutes of this. No way to escape. Covering your ears was not enough. It just kept playing, over and over. For days and days...

Damn it. Not again.

In the jungle, the mighty jungle, ....

I should have fixed that up a bit before you posted. I would have added this, right above the link...
